Dharamshala, July 22:  The executive meeting of Kangra, District Football Association was held on July 22 at the HIMUDA Guest House Dharamshala.

Mr. Ravinder Rana, President, DFA Kangra chaired the DFA’s executive committee meeting. Besides, DFA General Secretary Mr. Vijay Samsher Bhandari;  Mr. Raj kumar, Mr. Ajay Pankil, Mr. Rakesh Chauhan, Mr.Tapish Thapa and all other members attended the meeting.

Among the various topics discussed in the meeting, some of the important were the development of football in the district, expansion of executive body, some amendments in bylaws, district’s own annual sports calendar, planning on a generation of revenue to smooth conduct of various events and issue of construction of football stadium at Dharamshala.

DFA Kangra Coordinator and AIFF Match Commissioner Mr. Tapish Thapa, thanking each and every individual who has directly or indirectly contributed in the development of football in the district, has further sought the cooperation of each member in days to come as “the DFA Kangra has many milestones to be achieved.”  He also appealed to each ex-official member and football lovers of the district to continue extending their helping hand towards the association.

Gen.Sec. Vijay smasher Bhandari stated that, “very shortly the next meeting is scheduled to be held on the 5th August 2018 and the main agenda will be the development of football in the district and membership drive from all over the district.”
