Una: Himachal Pradesh Football Association has released its annual calendar. The Union meets of the State Executive held at Hotel Gulmohar Grand, District Una. Which was chaired by Onkar Nath Kasana & Naresh Khanna, Senior Vice-Presidents of the Association.
Apart from HPFA General Secretary Deepak Sharma, State Treasurer Naresh Rana, Referee Head Shyam Sundar Sharma, Media Coordinator SD Sharma, Physiotherapist Dr. Sumit Kumar Sharma, President of all the districts, General Secretary and Referees of Himachal Pradesh.
The roadmap for the year 2020 was prepared in the working committee meeting. The year-long Football Association’s activities were discussed in detail at the meeting. In the meeting, it was agreed to organize the state competition of senior men’s category at Kalpa in District Kinnaur in the month of September.
This year, the club championship will be held in Dhalpur Maidan in the month of 28th April, 2020 to 1st May, 2020. Apart from this, E-license courses will also be conducted by All India Football Federation in Himachal Pradesh. Referee refreshment course will be conducted in Sundernagar in March. Apart from this, the tournament of All India Under-17 Boys Invitational Snowshield Cup will be held in Dharamshala. The meeting also considered starting a club league tournament in Himachal Pradesh.
Sharma said that the Junior State Championship will be held at Nagnoli in District Una. Under-13 state competition will be held in Bilaspur in July. The sub junior state competition will be held in Kangra in the month of June. Himachal Pradesh Football Association will conduct the Women’s Football League at Nadaun District Hamirpur.
Pravindra Bhatti and Vikas Bhardwaj were nominated as new members in the meeting of the State Working Committee. In the meeting, it was decided to conduct football competitions at grassroots level in the state. All the state officials who came to the working committee proposed to add more people in the Association.
At the meeting, the association agreed to raise the economic standard of football by connecting the economically affluent people in the society to the football association. In the meeting of the State Working Committee, a proposal was also made to strengthen the football association financially. On which all the members voted to proceed in this direction.
Foreign football club will work with Himachal Satyadev Sharma said that a Frankfurt football club would work closely with Himachal Football Association. Under this, football tournaments will be organized in different schools of the state. Work will also be done on how football can be popularized in Himachal.
Apart from this, work will be done to increase the activities of Football Association and invent new technology. A delegation of Himachal Football Association will meet Chief Minister Jairam Thakur soon and consider the forthcoming action plan.
