HPFA celebrated AFC Women’s Day 2020

On the occasion of Women’s Day, Himachal Pradesh Football Association celebrated AFC Women’s Football Day at Khad Football Stadium, District Una. During this time a colorful cultural program was also organized. Himachal Pradesh Football Association General Secretary Deepak Sharma said that as per the instructions of All India Football Federation, the event was organized on Women’s  Football Day at the Football Stadium in Khad, District Una. In this, the boys of the Government College Khad presented Bhangra and forced the attendees to dance. Sumit & Anshul performed solo dance in the program. A musical chair competition was also organized during this period.

 

In which Kalpana was the winner. Deepak Sharma said that Mrs. Monica of Innerwheel Club presented wrist watch to both Girls teams. On this occasion, a girls’ exhibition football match was played between Girls Youth Football Academy Khad and Dhingra Majra Football Academy Mahilpur (Punjab). The girls of Punjab defeated Himachal Girls by 1-0 in the exhibition Match. The match was conducted by the female referee Ms. Jyoti. The special thing of the program was that the mothers of all the girls who came to play matches in it also specially arrived in the program. They saw there daughters playing football on the sports field. During this, many mothers also appeared emotional. HPFA Treasurer Naresh Rana, Vice President Pankaj Dutta Shammi, Nandita Sharma, Mohit Agrihotri, Shubham Gurung, Jagdish Dutta, Narinder Heer, Kamaljeet were present on the occasion.
