Himachal Pradesh Football Association (HPFA) has tied up with a football producing company. Now players will get to play football with the logo of HPFA. Soon, football with HPFA logo will be seen in every corner of Himachal. This information was given by the general secretary of the HP State Football Association Deepak Sharma in an online meeting organized through a webinar organized by Himachal Pradesh Football Association.
He said that this is the first time in history that the General Secretary of All India Football Federation (AIFF) has attended such a meeting. The meeting was attended by AIFF general secretary Khushal Das especially at Meetings. He appreciated the work of HPFA. Khushal Das said that Himachali youth have a lot of potential in playing football. Himachali young footballer and goalkeeper Vishal Kanth has earned a good name in this sport.
He said that AIFF and HPFA will work together to develop a football based infrastructure in the state. He said that the entire system has collapsed due to the nationwide lockdown due to Kovid-19 epidemic. As soon as the situation becomes normal, appropriate steps will be taken in this direction. He has invited Himachal Football Association General Secretary Deepak Sharma to Delhi. In Delhi, he will meet Sports Authority of India and discuss the rise of football in the state.Deepak Sharma said that the AFC Under-17 Women’s World Football Cup to be held in India is being conducted under the supervision of AIFF General Secretary Khushal Das. He congratulated him for this. Lack of basic amenities in Himachal was also discussed in the webinar meeting. Many members of the Association took up the problems including the football ground prominently in the state.
Deepak Sharma said that soon webinar program of referee, girls football and under-14 will be started in the state. In this online meeting, the treasurer of the association Naresh Rana, technical director Sudhir Beatty, head of referee Shyam Sundar Sharma, Pankaj Dutta, Munish Vittal, Pawan Kumar, Karanjit, Rohit, Ankit, Armaan, Bikram Bisht, AIFF match commissioner Tapish Thapa and Deepak Sharma, Pawan Kumar, Munish Kumar, Vipin Kumar, Mohammad Ikram, Shubham Gurung, Sanjeev Verma, Kashmir Singh and Virendra Sen attended.Himachal Pradesh Football Association will provide ten football and ten bibs to each district football association.
The football produced in the company will have the logo of Himachal Football Association. Apart from this, the bibs given to each district will also be of different colors. In the state level competitions to be held in the state, every district team will participate in the competition by wearing different colored bibs.
