The annual meeting of Himachal Pradesh Football Association was held at a Kapila farm Ghaluwal, District Una, Himachal Pradesh. It was chaired by Onkar Nath Kasana, Vice President of the Association and Councilor from Pandoga District Council Ward. While HPFA General Secretary Deepak Sharma was specially presented in it. The media co-coordinator of the HPFA, Satyadev Sharma, said that in the annual meeting of the Association, a roadmap for sports activities to be organized in the year 2021 was prepared.

It was informed at the meeting that it was agreed to organize the futsal and beach football tournaments in Himachal Pradesh for the first time. While Kangra & Una has been selected for Beach Football.

Under-14 football tournament District Kangra, Under-17 district Solan and under-21 Football tournament at Mandi district have agreed to get it done. Whereas’ for the Women’s Football League, it was agreed to have one place in Una, Mandi and Hamirpur.
At the meeting, it was decided to have the referee course soon. For this, a proposal has been passed to send two trainees from all the districts. In the meeting, the work of registering players through the District Football Club to Himachal Pradesh Football Associationwill be done.

Apart from this, the union has passed a proposal to send two trainees from every district for free e-license course. Football Association General Secretary Deepak Sharma said that Himachal Pradesh has reached 15th rank in the All India Football Federation; efforts are being made to make it to the first 5 soon.

For this, a new action plan is being prepared by meeting all the district associations of Himachal. He informed that 16 football clubs have been registered in the state so far, including two professionals from the association.
