Sports activities which have been closed for the last eight months due to Corona in the country will be restored along with Himachal Pradesh Football League on 25 November (Wednesday). This will be the first major tournament to be held in the state after the lockdown is implemented. This information was given by Media Coordinator Satyadev Sharma of Himachal Pradesh Football Association. He informed that the tournament, which is played without audience, will be inaugurated by a match between Paonta United FC and Sai Kangra FC. He informed that all the matches of the tournament will be played at the Khad Football Stadium in Haroli Assembly constituency of District Una. Under the first phase, 21 matches will be played in 10 days, which will run till December 4. Sharma said that the special feature of the tournament is that each team can include four foreign players in its 21 players.
Teams split into two pools *
Satyadev Sharma said that the teams participating in the tournament are divided into two pools. Poola-A consists of Paonta United FC, Sai Kangra FC, Siva FC, Tecto Swadis United FC and KFC Khad. While Pool-B has Shimla FC, Shahpur FC, Venga Wboys Kullu FC, Himachal FC and Summerhill United FC.
