At the inauguration of the tournament, the Vice President of Himachal Pradesh State Industries Development Corporation Prof. Ram Kumar was specially present. The inaugural match of this tournament, played without audience, was played between Paonta United FC and Sai Kangra FC. In which Sai Kangra defeated Paonta United 5–1. It is to be known that all the matches of the tournament will be played at the Khad Football Stadium in Haroli Assembly constituency of District Una.

Under the first phase, 21 matches will be played in 10 days, which will run till December 4. Sharma said that various teams in the tournament increased the tournament’s ranking by including foreign players. Tekro Swades United FC defeated Siva Football Club 2–1 in the second match played on the first day of the tournament. Tubewell will be installed.

The Vice President of Himachal Pradesh State Industries Development Corporation arrived at the inauguration of the tournament. Ram Kumar said that the football stadium built in the ravine of Haroli sub-division will be developed with state-of-the-art technology. A tubewell will be installed within two months to water the ground grass at the football stadium. He said that the football game district is Aan, Baan and Shaan of Haroli town of Una. He said that the state government is running several effective schemes to encourage sports.
