On June 10, 2023, trials were conducted for U-16 National Team’s zonal camps organized by the Himachal Pradesh Football Association at the Hamirpur Anu Football Stadium in the presence of Mr. Sunil Sharma (Bittu Ji), President of the Himachal Pradesh Football Association. Sixteen children from various districts of Himachal Pradesh participated in these trials, who were sent by different district football associations. Two children will be selected from these trials and will be sent to the national team’s zonal camp. It was mandatory for all participating players to bring their Himachali bona-fide certificate. On this occasion, Mr. Sunil Sharma (Bittu) Ji, President of the Himachal Pradesh Football Association, Mr. Deepak Sharma, General Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Football Association, Mr. Naresh Rana, Treasurer of the Himachal Pradesh Football Association, Mr. Pradeep Singh, President of the Hamirpur District Football Association, Mr. Rohit from Rohru, Mr. Joginder Singh from Una, Mr. Pawan Thakur from Kullu, Mr. Sandeep, Mr. Ankit, Mr. Nitin from Hamirpur District recorded their presence and boosted the morale of the players.

On this occasion, Mr. Sunil Sharma (Bittu) Ji, the President of the Himachal Pradesh Football Association, addressed and informed the players that the Himachal Pradesh Football Association, in collaboration with the Himachal Pradesh government, is making every possible effort to elevate the level of football, aiming to raise the name of Himachal Pradesh in the field of football across India.
