On August 12, 2023, the State-Level Sub-Junior Football Championship kicked off at Mother’s Pride School, Maloti. Shri Sunil Sharma (Bittu Ji), the President of the Himachal Pradesh Football Association, congratulated the association. He highlighted the joint efforts of the Himachal government and the Himachal Pradesh Football Association to bring football to every village in the state, aiming to elevate the level of football throughout the region.
A total of 11 teams from various states are participating in this event. The competition will run from August 12 to August 15, 2023, and it will also serve as a platform to select players for the Sub-Junior National Championship.
On this occasion, Mr. Kulvir Parmar, an advocate, and social worker, graced us as the chief guest, imparting his blessings to all the players. Sunil Dutt Sharma, a football coach, Prem Singh (Marodi), a former hockey player, and Prem Bhushan, a football coach, were all honored for their outstanding contributions to sports. Mr. Naresh Rana, the treasurer of the Himachal Pradesh Football Association, Pradeep Singh Ji, President of the Hamirpur District Football Association, and Sanjesh Jamwal Ji, General Secretary of the Hamirpur District Football Association, along with Naresh Khanna Ji, General Secretary of the Chamba District Football Association, Bhupinder Thakur Ji, Munish Panjalu Ji, Ishwar Das Ji, Naresh Thakur Ji, and Deepak Sharma Ji, were all present, boosting the morale of the players.

What an exhilarating finale of the Himachal Pradesh Sub Junior Boys Inter District Championship on 15th August 2023! The battle between Solan and Una was nothing short of spectacular. Solan emerged victorious, defeating Una 3-1 in the final showdown.
Hats off to the relentless efforts of both teams, as they left it all on the field. In the early moments, Una took the lead with Abhi’s goal, but Solan’s Atharv equalized before the half-time whistle.
The second half saw Una’s unwavering spirit, but it was Solan’s Atharv again who secured his second goal, propelling his team to a 2-1 lead. Rishi from Solan sealed the deal with a final goal, clinching the victory.
SDM Nadaun, Ms. Aparajita Chandel Ji, graced the occasion as the chief guest, encouraging a blend of sports and education while promoting environmental conservation. The Himachal Pradesh Football Association is taking this opportunity to announce the generous contribution of ₹1,00,000 from Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Sukhavinder Singh Sukhu Ji for Hamirpur District Football Association.
